this video is about so many things but today i am wondering what corners i leave for Derek? i always think of the suffering as the dirty orphans in africa, the starving, the sick and needy. but what happens in me when it's Derek that is suffering and in need of help, water, or grace? watching this breaks my heart-it reminds me that 'grace isn't fair' because if it was-i wouldn't have it. so often i need to come up with a reason to give Derek grace, forgetting that i, myself have been liberated...
